another late night/early morning post…

it feels weird when i try to go to sleep early.
anywho, the weekend was pretty chill.
jenn came down for memorial day weekend.
i can’t really describe it, but the feel of the house is different when she is here.
it’s nice though. she’s got some great motherly tendencies.

continuing with the hermit life, i’ve been getting new music and stuff to watch.
in the music department, i got some Aya Kamiki (上木彩矢). she’s cute, but nothing really special. i’m hoping i’ll grow to like her. she’s an ’85er too. i want a new fix…
and in videos, i’ve downloaded almost half of BBC’s TopGear show. it’s great fun to watch and dream. jeremy clarkson is probably the coolest old guy ever. the show’s mix of beautiful cars and childish demonstrations keeps the show entertaining.

as for today, I tried to make it a productive day. my current little project is swapping my LG 26″ HDTV LCD for a 32″. i’ve done some research and decided on a Philips. there’s several models to chose from, but I’ll wait till I actually get mine outta here before I decide. so yeah, today I rounded up 3 items i needed to return, and my Dell 2007WFP to ship back via UPS. in the end total, I got back some $500 credit back to my BofA CC, $35 cash back, $35 back to my mom’s AMEX, and $10 back to my debit. haha, it’s really just money that I shouldn’t have spent in the first place, but oh well. and in the meantime, i’m selling my old car stereo on ebay, and posted my LG on craig’s list. i still have to put up my PowerBook G4 for sale, and resell an Ati HDTV Remote Wonder that I just got today. it doesn’t really operate like i thought i would. hopefully i won’t lose any money there. and then i’m also considering selling my 60gb iPod Photo. i checked ebay, and i probably can only get $100 for it. i’m not sure whether it’s worth it to just keep as a collector’s item. and with June less than 24 hours away, I gotta start watching for Sony Ericsson to release their K800. I just learned that the K790 that will be released in the US will be quadband, instead of the triband that they initially advertised. we shall see what the K800 ends up with. they’re both rumored to start selling around $600. bah.
that concludes my buying/selling stuff.

oh yeah. counter-strike is starting to kickass again.

yeah, it’s been a while since I last posted, as usual.
it’s not so much that there hasn’t been anything going on.
mainly there’s just a different mood these days.
there’s still some hanging out here and there, but meh.
anywho, I’ll point out some of the highlights the past few weeks.

last month, jess, her cousin (jason), and home friend (bean…i don’t remember his name), and I went to go check out day 8 of Gumball 3000. it’s a race based on the 1981 movie, Cannonball Run. started by Maximillion Cooper in 1999, he invited 50 of his friends to take part in a 3000-mile rally around Europe, thus starting the annual event that is Gumball 3000. this year it started off in London, traveling 3000 miles over 3 continents (Europe, Asia, and America), and finishing in Los Angeles, CA in Rodeo Drive. all in all, the drivers are maniac drivers that pull some of the craziest maneuvers I’ve ever seen. all in all, the cars were hot and the event was a nice away event from Orange County.

secondly, my summer session of school started back up. same ol’ stuff i guess.
i don’t know. this is sort of off topic, but I’ve noticed that without any love interest, I have little motivation to really do what I want to do. I don’t know if it’s a good or bad thing…but I must say that last year I was much more motivated to get things done. I guess I like having that pressure on me, that I’m trying to not only better my future, but have ‘her’ be proud of me. without that ‘her’, I have little ambition. it kind of bums me out, but I figure I just have to wait it out a bit.

on a somewhat better note, I’m forming crushes on women 10 years my senior. starting with Tomoko Kawase, a Japanese musician/singer of [the brilliant green/Tommy february6/Tommy hevenly6]. then Jenna Fischer, the actress playing Pam Beesley on NBC’s The Office. and lastly Audrey Tautou, French actress mainly known for her title role in Amelie. haha. I don’t know why I’m listing them out, but I think they all possess qualities that I love in a girl. hopefully my wife will be some mixture of the three, and a little bit extra.

other than that stuff, I’ve been focusing a lot on my bedroom decor. I completed my first of many rearragements in this room. it’s been a wonderful change so far, and I’m constantly thinking of what else I can do. I really need to fill up the walls. I’m wondering whether I should add more form or function to the walls. goddamn life is expensive.

in the meantime, I’ve pushed my sleep schedule way back. I mainly sleep during the day now, giving me much less to do. which is why i’m up at 5:11 posting on my blog.
sable will be coming back to cali the end of this month. I look forward to that, cause I was really looking for someone to call, and she seems to be the only one that wouldn’t mind me giving her a ring at such a late hour. haha, we’ll see.

lastly, my dad bought me a MacBook. it’s Apple’s latest and greatest addition to their line of laptops.
I got the black 13.3″. It’s currently the new hottness, but I’m just using it as a replacement for my instant messaging needs. I’m sure I’ll give it more use as time goes by.
