IKEA Mikael Desk Hack

When I moved back to Nor*Cal a few months ago, one of my biggest excitements was being able to select new furniture. I can spend days upon days just browsing the internet for something that will perfectly suit my needs. I found most things pretty quickly, like my bed, nightstand, and wall shelves. But what really became a dilemma was trying to choose my desk. I had a tiny alcove space to work with, and very little selection to choose from. As a stickler for design, I can’t just arbitrarily squish whatever fits. I need something just right.

So I turned to IKEA. With their rather cheap prices and warehouse of hackable building supplies, I devised my own creation. Check it out on IKEA Hacker.
