I feel the stillness of the sun and I feel fine

Song: Jamie Cullum – These Are The Days

The days are getting real busy with Xhibitr now that we’re preparing to exhibit at CPX. I’ve gotten into the habit of staying up to work with our programmer in Japan. But tonight I decided to have a little self indulgence. I photosynthed my room.

Photosynth is a software application from Microsoft Live Labs and the University of Washington that analyzes digital photographs and generates a three-dimensional model of the photos and a point cloud of a photographed object. Pattern recognition components compare portions of images to create points, which are then compared to convert the image into a model. Users are able to view and generate their own models using a software tool available for download at the Photosynth website. [via wikipedia]

I ended up taking 450 pics around my room totaling 1.4 gigabytes of 10 megapixel goodness, although the quality doesn’t quite translate. Check out my photosynthed room below (or click here), but take note that Photosynth requires silverlight on Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 2 or Firefox 3.
