Last week I dropped by Marukai with my friend Jess to grab some unbelievable ramen at Daikokuya in the food court. While we were there, we did some post-dinner wandering around the market to walk off the food and drink. But I did pick up one thing that really sparked my interest – the Kobayashi Powerful One Drop Deodorizer.
Just a few drops of Kobayashi Powerful One Drop in a toilet bowl before use will instantly deliver a fresh fragrance and eliminate unwanted odors, like a ninja, silent, powerful, leaving no trace, it’s like you were never there…
…it actually works. One drop. I gotta try it on my brother. That’ll be the ultimate test.
It’s 13 days into the new year, and the Santa Ana winds have already come back bringing the hot heat. Last week I was complaining how the cold weather was too much to bare for my SoCal spoiled ass. Now I’m back to my usual bitching about how Summer lasts 11 months of the year. I guess I’ll just never be satisfied. My mom would be disappointed in me, especially since my buddy Calvin is freezing his butt off over in Chitown. We really got it good here in California.
Calvin will be heading down this weekend for some work/r&r. After a year of triumphs and defeats, our Xhibitr team is finally ready to push out a release. It’s still sort of sinking in, but seriously, can’t wait. We’ve got some other stuff in the works as well, but we always seem to be taking our sweet time.Mick Boogie and friends present to you their latest masterpiece, Adele: 1988.
Fresh off the success of the internationally-acclaimed Viva La Hova, the MB team have reunited to introduce rock star Adele (nominated for 4 Grammy awards) to a whole new audience.
Adele’s album 19 set trends and created influence in the pop, rock and international worlds. But what would happen if the vocals and instruments of 19 were combined with the hip-hop sensibilities of the late 1980s, considered by many hip-hop’s golden age?
The result is the new release from Mick Boogie… Adele: 1988.
More than a mashup, it’s a complete reinterpretation of Adele’s album as only Mick Boogie and friends can do.

When I was a young tyke, I was fascinated with any science project books I could get my hands on from the Scholastic Book Club. They’d contain fun little experiments and activities that I could do at home and pretend to learn the science behind it all. Last year, I took notice of a similar book (via LifeHacker) that offers household tips and tricks for a multitude of life’s daily dilemmas. Finally settling down and purchasing Urawaza from Amazon, I have been thoroughly enjoying all the fun filled secrets that will inevitably make my life easier. For more information, check out the official Urawaza blog maintained by the Author herself, Lisa Katayama.
