Now that all the smoke is gone, and the battle is finally won…

So it’s been a week since we’ve decided on our new president-elect, and the world is still here. One of the ongoing battles that continue locally is the anti-Prop 8 group. It’s been getting a little out of hand, but to be honest even though I don’t agree with it I personally feel that since we put it up to a vote, it’s our turn to concede and wait again until we can try for it again when maybe the rest of the state/nation is ready. In that same respect, I’m definitely all for the right to protest and back up those that feel the need to fight for the rights to equality 100%.

No Sad, Big Smile Tee

2008.11.05 – This is a graphic I saw from an Adidas viral site: No Sad, Big Smile. To be honest, I’m not sure if it’s based on a real person, or just purely created for marketing Adidas Originals. But either way, the idea behind it is brilliant and hilarious. So in my usual way, I decided to make a shirt out of it.

I just made it and ordered it today, so it’ll be a few days before arriving. Hit the jump for a preview of what it should look like.

Gummy Bear Tee

2008.04.19 – This was a project that I worked on with a friend. The idea behind the design comes from the age old tradition of mixing and matching gummy bear heads. We made the t-shirts with spray paint and hand cut stencils.

Take a look at the process in the pics after the jump.

2007.06 – This site was a corporate website made for National Equipment & Services. It includes HTML/CSS/Flash/PHP.

Calamari Tee

2007.10.24 – This was the first tee I designed for a label I was trying to create. Long story short, I had to shut it down due to personal circumstances, but I was able to produce 50 shirts and ship a few orders.

The idea behind the design is based on the first commercial Apple released for the launch of the iPhone.

Pixel Room

2003.02.20 – This was a personal project that I wanted to try out. The style of art used is known as “pixel art”. Working off snapshots taken around my room, it took approximately 10 hours to complete. I used a combination of Photoshop and Illustrator to manually create the image pixel by pixel (hence the name of the style).

Check out eBoy for more pixel art pieces. He’s definitely one of the big names in game to date.

The Giving Tree

2002.11.17 – This was a desktop wallpaper I created in honor of my late Aunt. She gave me a 25th Anniversary Edition of The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. At the time, I was just learning how to use Adobe Illustrator, so I thought it’d be a good time to practice.

Congratulations America.

This was the previous design just prior to my current one. With this layout, I wanted to go back to the basics with a clean design. I think it pretty much speaks for itself.
